Celebrities react to Joe Biden’s Presidential win

The U.S 2020 Presidential Election captured the attention of the world for nearly a week as Joe Biden and President Donald Trump went neck and neck in key swing states like Pennsylvania and Georgia.

After news of the projected victory, the entire world took to social media to celebrate.

Celebrities in the U.S waste no time to show their love and appreciation for Biden and Trump’s exit from the White House.

Meanwhile former President Barrack Obama published his thoughts on the change –

“Congratulations to my friends, @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris — our next President and Vice President of the United States.”

Everyone’s favourite twerker/singer, Lizzo copngradulated their new President by hopping on a jet ski and shouting to the top of her lungs of how happy she was for the news.

Talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, tweeted congrats, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were seen on the top of a moving vehicle during a street parade; but just before the parade they were at home playing music with the lyrics “@#$k Donald Trump.”

Basketball star Lebron James also pointed to an emotional on-air moment from CNN’s Van Jones, where the host said after Trump’s defeat, “it’s easier to be a parent this morning … to tell your kids character matters.”

 

R/B singer/dancer Ciara took to Instagram and cried for the country’s new President. Ciara said she is excited for the new change and for Kamala Harris representing women and women of colour in The White House –

 

Joe Biden’s biggest supporter and fan, Cardi B also took to her Instagram page to send congrats to Biden and to also send another message to Donald Trump’s supporters; who she said attacked her sister and her husband, Offset.
