Caroni Central MP, Arnold Ram has given kudos to the members of his constituency for participating in the Blood Drive aspect of The Caroni Central Constituency Office’s Blood Drive and Medical Clinic.
Mr Ram said they managed to have a great turnout of donors despite the inclement weather and also a few persons being unable to give blood due to pressure-related problems or other underlying issues.
They were also able to donate 30 pints of blood to the Blood Bank, courtesy of the NWRHA.
He said the Caroni constituency office Members, NWRHA nurses and friends of the community worked diligently together and his first time and the first time of others was certainly a pleasant experience.
Mr Ram said he hoped more of his constituents join in on this Drive on the next occasion his office hosts it and it can be guaranteed that he will be donating blood every 6 months.
