Cardi B granted extension to complete 15 day community service for strip club brawl

Cardi B, who appeared in court on Tuesday in Queens, New York, where she was awarded an extension to complete her 15-day community service stemming from her plea deal in the 2018 strip club brawl case.

Back in September, Cardi pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges, and said that “part of up growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions.”

But because she hadn’t completed her sentence, Cardi went back to Queens Criminal Court and was granted an extension until March 1. In a statement by her lawyer, Drew Findling, he said, “Cardi is dedicated to community service and charitable endeavors.

She, therefore, appreciates the court giving her until March 1st to complete her community service commitment in Queens, New York.”
