Call For Probe Into Attorney General’s Alleged Breach Of Motor Vehicles And Road Traffic Act.

The Opposition Leader is calling for an investigation into Attorney General Faris Al Rawi for allegedly breaching the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act.

Kamla Persad Bissessar says she has written to the Acting Commissioner of Police, as well as the Director of Public Prosecutions, requesting the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service investigate the alleged failure by Mr Al-Rawi to transfer Motor Vehicle Registration No. PCY 84 to Roger Kawalsingh.

In a media release Friday, the Member of Parliament for Siparia claimed there was failure to notify the Transport Commissioner of the change in ownership contrary to Section 19 of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Act Chap 48:50.
