Caribbean Airlines starting July 6th, will be resuming international and regional scheduled flights, on a phased basis, out of their Jamaica hub.
In a media release issued this afternoon, CAL Chief Executive Officer, Garvin Medera said as countries within the region slowly begin to open their borders, they look forward to expanding their schedule.
Below is a current list of services being offered by Caribbean Airlines in Jamaica
- Daily flights between Kingston, Jamaica and New York, NY
- Weekly flights between Kingston, Jamaica and Toronto, Canada on Wednesday starting July 8. This to be increased to twice weekly with an additional service on a Sunday from July 19.
- Twice weekly flights between Kingston, Jamaica and Bridgetown, Barbados, on Monday and Friday
CAL said flights are open for sale from today, Monday June 29.
For pending approvals, they indicated that they plan to reintroduce their daily Kingston to Miami, FL. route shortly after these initial services.
Later in July, they plan to reopen their network from Antigua and Barbados to regional destinations; as well an additional service to New York out of Montego Bay.
At present, Trinidad and Tobago is still closed to routine international travel.
