Caribbean Airlines (CAL) has assured that the safety, security, and well-being of its customers and employees is its highest priority.
In a media release, CAL says the airline works closely with the Public Health Officials, Airports Authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure the safety protocols used are in keeping with the instructions of the Public Health Ordinances.
Caribbean Airlines says it is Platinum Status certified from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and Simpliflying, following a comprehensive audit of the airline’s COVID-19 protocols.
This release comes one day after an Express newspaper article which quoted some CAL pilots and stewards as calling for travellers between Trinidad and Tobago to provide proof of vaccination.
The airline says it abides by the regulations and entry protocols of the destinations in which it operates.
