Cabinet subcommittee report into WASA found the utility received over $25 billion 

Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, says the cabinet subcommittee which was set to review the operations of the Water and Sewage Authority found for period 2010 to 2020 over twenty-five billion tax payers’ dollars went into the utility.

Delivering a statement in the House of Representative this afternoon, Minister Gonzales said currently only an estimated thirty-four percent of the population get a 24\7 supply of pipe borne water in the dry season, with some communities not receiving water for weeks and in some cases months or even years.

Minister Gonzales revealed of the challenges the cabinet subcommittee found during its deliberations on WASA.
