Businessman robbed of car and cash

The search is on for three men who robbed a supermarket owner outside his D’Abadie, Arima home on Tuesday night.

Around 8pm, the 45-year-old man had just arrived at his home in his vehicle when he observed three men in his yard.

The suspects immediately pounced on the man and forced him out of the car, while demanding cash.

The man had an envelope filled with $70,000 in cash in the vehicle.

The three men then grabbed the victim’s keys to the vehicle, entered the car, and drove off.

The vehicle had a value of $400,000.
