Businessman Edwin Thomas has been detained by the police in connection with the murder of his wife, Sabrina Thomas.
Reports state that Thomas was arrested by the TTPS on Tuesday 16th May, 2023, at his home in Aripero Village, South Oropouche.
A post made by Crime Watch suggests, Thomas was detained after 7:00am and taken to a police station in the southern division.
Edwin is expected to be questioned in connection with his wife’s murder.
45-year-old Sabrina Thomas, was shot and killed at Fanny Village in Point Fortin, on Monday 13th February 2023.
Thomas was standing in the yard of her mother-in-law’s home at Fanny Village, Point Fortin when she was approached by a man clad in a long sleeve camouflage jacket and camouflage pants.
The suspect shot Thomas several times in the back of her head and chest before fleeing the scene on foot.
