A businessman is dead following a robbery at his mini mart in Petit Valley.
According to several reports the deceased identified as Alec Wang Kwok Yip, 72 was at his business place at the corner of Morne Coco Road and Palm Avenue, when three masked gunmen entered just after 12 noon on Tuesday May 4th.
Police reports indicate that Alec along with his wife were tied up, relieved of their valuables and cash and then later severely beaten about the face and body.
The woman untied herself and eventually called the police.
