Budget day will be September 2nd.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley revealed this last night while addressing supporters during a People’s National Movement meeting in Belmont.
Dr Rowley also revealed that he will be instructing Finance Minister Colm Imbert to insert into the Budget, a separate and special payment for every member of the Ministry of Health for their efforts during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He lauded Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram for leading the health team.
Dr Rowley added that while the Government recognises what others did, Health officials rose to the occasion and walked the extra mile.
