‘Bomber’ denied bail and remanded into custody

A 35-year-old man was denied bail and remanded into custody when he appeared before the Princes Town Magistrates’ Court, on May 23rd, 2022, charged with possession of firearm, kidnapping and wounding with intent.
KENT THOMAS, aka ‘Bomber’, of Harmony Hall, Gasparillo, was also charged with possession of ammunition, possession of firearm to endanger life and possession of ammunition to endanger life, when he appeared before Magistrate Indira R. Misir-Gosine, yesterday.
He is expected to reappear in court on June 2nd, 2022.
According to reports, the accused was allegedly involved in a reported kidnapping and wounding with intent incident in the Southern Division, on April 23rd, 2021.
Officers of the Princes Town Criminal Investigations Department (CID) spearheaded by Sgt. Teeluck, Cpl Khan and PC Rajkumarsingh conducted further enquiries and arrested the accused on Friday 20th, May, 2022.
He was charged with the offences on Monday 23rd, May, 2022.
