The body of a 23-year-old man was found in Carapo on Monday morning.
Residents reported to police that they stumbled upon the body at Race Course Road at around 9.14 am.
When officers of the Northern Division Emergency Response Patrol arrived, they found the body of a man in a grassy area near a car park.
The victim was later identified as Omari Alexander, aka “Soul,” from Pinewood Drive, Carapo.
Investigators said he appeared to have been shot in the head.
Police are continuing enquiries
