Police have been able to identity the body of a man, which was found in Port-of-Spain on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old Peter Mohammed, aka “Pumpkin.”
Mohammed’s body was found at about 5:30 am near a carpark close to Abercromby and Queen Janelle Commissiong Streets.
The body was found lying on the roadway partially covered with a cardboard box.
An autopsy confirmed that Mohammed was killed as there was a gaping wound to the back of the head.
