Soca artist Dexter ‘Blaxx’ Stewart was rushed to Medical Associates in St Joseph earlier today, after he complained of having difficulty breathing.
izzso media spoke to his ex-wife, who confirmed that he was rushed to hospital by ambulance following a call by his close friend and fellow artist FayAnn Lyons-Alvarez.
According to a Loop report, Lyons-Alvarez and husband Ian “Bunji Garlin” Alvarez are currently with Blaxx and his two sons at the facility.
Lyons-Alvarez revealed that he is undergoing tests because of fluid in his lungs. She said they are checking for any complications following a recent surgery he had when he was hospitalised over a week ago.
Blaxx’s return to hospital comes mere days after an appeal was put out by Dawg E Slaughter to raise funds to assist the singer with his medical expenses.
