Former girlfriend of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell is now asking to be released just as Bill Cosby.
In a VLADtv report Maxwell’s first prison photo with a black eye, may be from her being locked up in solitary confinement for the last 10 months.
With the recent release of Bill Cosby, many wondered what would be next for Cosby, along with others who were in the same situation, like Harvey Weinstein and Maxwell. Now, a lawyer for Maxwell has said she should be let go just like how Bill Cosby was.
In an Op-Ed for the New York Daily News, the appellate lawyer for Maxwell—David Oscar Markus said New York prosecutors shouldn’t have gone after Maxwell years earlier, as a prosecutor in Florida allegedly promised Jeffrey Epstein a deal that wouldn’t implicate his “co-conspirators.” Markus went on to write, “If a prosecutor promises something, he should be bound by his word — just like the rest of us.”
‘The Cosby case reaffirms that a prosecutor is bound to act with integrity, and the public must be able to rely on his word.” Ghislaine Maxwell is expected to go on trial later this summer.
