As the coronavirus pandemic continues its destructive path across the globe, celebrities are finding ways to help combat the crisis.
However, two of the most savage female American entertainers in the game created audio mayhem by dropping the remix to Megan Thee Stallion’s massive hit. Megan Thee Stallion recruited none other than Beyoncé for the “Savage” remix.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Megan shared how excited she was, writing, “I’m literally crying 😭 being from HOUSTON MF TEXAS this sh*t means EVERYTHING to me !!!! SAVAGE REMIX FT THE QUEEN @BEYONCE OUT NOW!
“Savage” is the third single from Megan Thee Stallion’s third extended play (EP) Suga. The original song cracked the top 10 in Belgium, Ireland and the U.S. and it achieved viral status on TikTok.
All proceeds from the remix will benefit Bread of Life’s Houston COVID-19 relief efforts, which Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD organization recently announced a $6 million donation to in partnership with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s #startsmall.
When Complex spoke with Meg back in January 2019, she expressed her desire to work with her fellow Texan Bey. “I wanna work with Beyoncé. Obviously, I have to get the OG Hottie—the Houston Hottie—to do a song with me,” she said.
