Barbados Royals Win Their Third Straight CPL Match Their Latest Against TKR Today

Two wickets each from Oshane Thomas, Obey McCoy, Devon Thomas, helped guide Barbados Royals to a 80 run win based on the Duckworth Lewis method against Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League today.

The DLS is a mathematical system employed to calculate target scores and reach outcomes in rain-shortened limited-overs matches.

The match was played at the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium, St Lucia.

Rain interrupted the match on two occasions.

Set 195 for victory, TKR men cricketers were struggling at one stage at 47 for 8.

Batting first after being sent in, Royals made 194 for 4 off 20 overs.

Player of the match Captain, David Miller, led the way with 60 runs off 32 balls.

Opener Kyle Myers provided support with 52 runs from 33 balls which included five fours and four sixes.

South African Quinton De Kock contributed 44 runs.

At 7pm today, St Lucia Kings who are at the bottom of the standing with no points will play against CPL Leaders Jamaica Tallawahs.

Royals have won all their three matches and are on 6 points to top the standings.

They are followed by Tallawahs on 4 points, TKR 3, Patriots 2, Warriors 1 and St Lucia Kings 0.
