President of the Entertainment Association of Barbados, Rudy Maloney, is in support of a second major carnival festival in November.
Mr Maloney said the entertainment business has always been interested in such an event, which would be good for the economy, especially for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
He was quoted as saying, “It’s good for the country and I think we can build on it and make it a success.
Mr Maloney added that a lot of the Caribbean islands have more than one festival after the initial carnival offering , “so we need something else to stimulate economic activity,”.
