A 62-year-old money-lender from Barataria was reportedly shot and abducted on Tuesday.
The circumstances remain unclear at this time, but unconfirmed reports are that Derrick Cooper of Barataria was shot and then snatched in the vicinity of the Caroni Bridge.
He remains unaccounted for up to this time.
Investigations are said to be underway.
