President of the Barkeepers’ and Owners’ Association of Trinidad and Tobago Satesh Moonasar said that not much changed for Bar owners with the announcement of the new measures by the Health Minister yesterday.
He says that bars have been feeling the pinch for some time now, and based on the announcement yesterday it seems that things will not change for them any time soon.
While he acknowledged that there has been issues with some bar owners who flout the pandemic laws, he said that the Association has provided the Government with a solution to the issue.
He told the Power Breakfast show today that the closure of those business is creating an underground trade.
