Two bandits relieved a 60-year-old police officer of his motor vehicle outside his Arima home on Tuesday night.
The victim reported that he had just parked his white Hyundai Tucson in front of his Pommerac Drive, Santa Rosa Heights, Arima home around 8:10pm, when he was approached by two men, one armed with a firearm.
The suspects ordered the man to hand over his belongings.
He complied, handed over the keys to his vehicle, his wallet containing his TTPS ID, driver’s permit, bank cards, and a Samsung Note 20 mobile phone.
The suspects then drove off with the vehicle along Pinto Road.
Investigations are ongoing.
