A man known to the police only as “Babooji”, was found dead inside an abandoned car in Couva on Saturday morning.
The dead man, said to be of Orange Field Road, Carapichaima, was found in an abandoned vehicle at Sevilla Road around 10:15am, by a passerby who notifed police.
The man, of mixed descent, had a bullet hole to his head and was discovered slumped over the steering wheel of a grey Toyota Corolla that was abandoned below a tree in the vicinity of Basta Hall Road near the Sevilla Golf Course.
Homicide South is investigating.
