The Trinidad & Tobago Automobile Association (TTAA) donated 500 face masks to the Port of Spain City Corporation.
The handover took place on Wednesday, when TTAA president Selwyn Bunny Persad and vice president Gerald Mendes presented the masks to mayor Joel Martinez.
On Tuesday, the TTAA also presented masks to the borough of Point Fortin.
Point Fortin Mayor Saleema McCree-Thomas, said she was delighted that the Association chose the borough to be among the recipients of its national mask distribution initiative. She said the masks were more than appreciated and the corporation would start distribution immediately.
