Around the clock monitoring of popular beaches; no more than 10 per group

There will be strict around the clock monitoring of beach facilities across the islands, to ensure people are adhering to the Covid-19 health protocols.

In a media release, The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts reminded the public, especially those anxious to head to the beaches, that their groups/limes must be restricted to a limit of 10.

The Tourism Ministry said the beaches such as Maracas, Las Cuevas, Manzanilla and Vessigny Beach Facilities, which falls under their direct responsibility will on Monday open from 6 am to 6 pm
However, in-establishment dining will not be allowed.

“The Ministry is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all users of these beach facilities and your protection remains our highest priority.

In this regard, we remind beachgoers that recommended personal protective measures against the transmission of Covid-19 as communicated by the Ministry of Health must be followed at these beach facilities.”

These include following personal hygiene measures, mask wearing, as well as practicing social distancing.
