Arima Mayor Cagney Casimire has indicated that the Borough Corporation is as ready as it can be in preparing of the impending adverse weather conditions.
Speaking with News Power Now, on Tuesday, Mayor Casimire noted that several mechanisms have been put in place to treat with any incidences which may arise. He noted that councilors have assembled teams to assist persons in need and areas prone to flooding are being monitored by the Borough’s Disaster Management Unit.
Mayor Casimire said the Corporation did have time to prepare as he pointed to clean up exercises which took place over the past weekend.
