Argentina footballers are into the finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup for the sixth time.
They defeated Croatia in the first semi-final of the prestigious tournament 3-0 this afternoon.
Messi found the back of the net in the 34th minute of play while Álvarez scored in the 39th and 69th minutes.
Argentina last reached the World Cup final in 2014 where they lost to Germany.
Croatia will meet the loser of tomorrow’s second semi-final between World Cup Holders France and Morocco at 3pm.
