Apple announced a bunch of new features on the way for its software platforms, including the ability to edit messages you’ve already sent in its Messages app.
Apple software engineering senior VP Craig Federighi announces the changes while discussing iOS16 updates adding that users will be able to unsend messages, and mark threads unread to easily revisit them later, covering three of the most requested features from iMessage users.
Messages that have been edited will be designated as such in-thread, though it’s unclear whether users have a time limit for making edits.
