Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister now Chairman of CARICOM

The Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, assumed the Chairmanship of the Conference of Heads of Government of the CARICOM on 1 July 2021.

In a CARICOM Today report, Prime Minister Browne succeeds the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley, and will serve for the next six months.

He will chair the virtual Forty-second Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government which begins on Monday, 5 July.

The Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minster holds responsibility for Services in the CARICOM Quasi Cabinet.
