Police arrested 12 persons at a nightclub in Perseverance, Couva for breaching the COVID-19 public health regulations.
Police say the individuals from the California and Couva areas, were held during the early hours of Friday morning and ticketed for failing to wear a face mask.
Later in the morning, the same officers were to an apartment at Lisas Gardens and arrested a 30-year-old man for firearm and ammunition possession and a 26-year-old man for cocaine possession.
As the exercise continued, three other arrests were made related to reports of robbery with violence and kidnapping.
