A comprehensive man power audit is put forward by an economist as a useful guide for government to get insight into the talent pool available in terms of local and immigrant labour.
Economist, Dr Roger Hosein, explains this information will put the ruling administration in a better position to formulate its policies and projections in line with the labour force and get positive results.
Dr Hosein made the comments while speaking on the Afternoon Power Drive Programme on Power 102 Digital on Wednesday.
Dr Hosein suggested the government can allocate some of the surplus funding acquired into areas such manufacturing, agriculture and service export activity.
Dr Hosein also cited the benefits of produce more food for the nation especially in light of the rising food bill.
