A request is made by Member of Parliament for St Augustine, Khadijah Ameen, to send additional CEPEPP teams to clear local watercourses of debris.
MP Ameen says the workforce at the Regional Corporation is strained as St. Augustine has very few CEPEPP teams.
In a media release, MP Ameen says this comes after extensive rainfall on Tuesday where many areas of the constituency of St Augustine were affected by flash flooding.
The Opposition MP says some constituents have suffered damages due to flood waters entering their homes and properties.
