The Opposition is urging the government to speed up the pace at which local government reform is being implemented.
St Augustine Member of Parliament, Khadijah Ameen, says the time has come for reform in local government to be carried into another momentum.
Speaking at a news briefing held by the United National Congress Friday morning, MP Ameen said government must deliver on its promise to put in place executive councils, ensure efficient services, and better roads.
MP Ameen said the creation of executive council was promised but has not materialised.
