There needs to be greater clarification on what data markers are being used to determine the implementation and/or lifting of COVID restrictions.
So says the Chief Executive Officer of the American Chamber of Commerce, Nirad Tewarie.
Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Monday morning, Tewarie said there isn’t enough transparency on this issue, particularly given the massive repercussions of the decision.
Tewarie added that more can also be done by the Government to assist businesses in this rough economic time.
He noted the lack of consultation by the Government over an issue that affects thousands of persons including business owners, employees and their families.
