Alleyne’s deceased partner died from blood loss

Keone Paryag, the 34-year-old boyfriend who allegedly held Danah Alleyne hostage at her Chaguanas home last Friday night, died of blood loss.

During Paryag’s autopsy at the Forensic Science Center yesterday, the findings revealed that he suffered massive haemorrhaging in his left leg from two gunshot wounds.

Paryag was fatally shot on Friday evening during a confrontation with police in Chaguanas after holding the younger sister of Crime Watch host, Ian Alleyne, hostage at her home. A failed business venture which resulted in the loss of thousands of dollars may have caused Paryag to react in a negative manner. He was shot during the altercation with police and taken to the hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
