All TATEC Outages Relating To Recent Adverse Weather System Have Been Restored.

The Ministry of Public Utilities says at 10am today, the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission reports all outages relating to a September 3rd, 2021 adverse weather system, have substantially been restored.

In a media release Monday, the Ministry says a total of four hundred and twenty –one small and large outages throughout the Commission’s Transmission and Distribution network have been restored, with less than fifteen individual reports still outstanding which are being addressed at this time.

The release says in the case of the Water and Sewerage Authority, the operations of its thirty-two affected water treatment facilities have also been restored.

Customers are reminded it may take up to twenty –four hours for service to be normalised across the distribution grid.
