AG says State still awaiting formal response on Duke situation

Despite THA Secretary Farley Augustine’s announcement last week that PDP Leader Watson Duke has three weeks to step down as PSA President Attorney General Faris Al Rawi says the State is still awaiting a formal response from Mr Augustine.
He says in his capacity as the AG he formerly wrote to Mr Augustine informing him that Mr Duke cannot hold both positions.
He says he expects formal communication in return.
