Acting Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, says he is hoping the image and independence of the Police Service Commission is not tarnished in anyway which will can affect its operations and effectiveness.
Mr Griffith made the comment while being interviewed on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital Monday.
Mr Griffith said all should be done to ensure the PSC’s work is not affected by external influences.
Mr Griffith said there are legitimate investigative agencies which have been established to probe matters which may arise and their findings will help guide decisions or actions which should be taken.
