U.S rapper and Rihanna’s boyfriend, A$AP Rocky has been charged with felony assault with a firearm.
These charges stemmed from the November shooting case in Hollywood involving victim Terell Ephron, a.k.a. ASAP Relli.
The L.A Times reported that L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón said “discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,”
George said “my office conducted a thorough review of the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.”
ASAP Rocky is set to be arraigned on Wednesday and could face up to nine years in prison if found guilty of the offense.
