A variety of Skittles and Starburst recalled in the U.S, Canada, and Mexico

A variety of Skittles, Starburst, and Life Saversgummies had been voluntarily recalled due to the possibility of tiny metal shards in the packaging or within the candies.

According to Balleralert, the products in question have been distributed across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

After customer complaints, the corporation was made aware of the problem. Despite rumors to the contrary, the recalled gummies have not been linked to any illnesses.

“We are voluntarily recalling specific varieties and limited production dates of various gummies as they may contain a small piece of a very thin metal strand,” a company spokesperson said.

The names of the 13 impacted items, as well as the first three digits of the production number found on the back of the packaging, were included in the company’s press release, which was also shared by the United States Food and Drug Administration.
