There also unconfirmed reports that a 9-year-old boy who was with his parents was grazed in the cross fire during the attempted robbery and shooting at the Pennywise La Romain compound yesterday.
Reports also indicate that a security guard from the compound security was shot in his back.
Both are said to be in stable condition.
Further info states that a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment who is attached to the La Romain Camp was also detained by Homicide Detectives last night as intel indicated that he was also a suspect in the shooting.
The initial getaway car was abandoned a short distance from the camp.
A female relative of one of the robbers killed in the shootout with police is employed at an establishment on the Pennywise compound.
Reports also state that the dead robbers were said to be in the mall area approximately two hours before the incident.
