Twenty-two fully grown marijuana trees with a street value of $88,000 were uprooted and destroyed in Moriah, Tobago, yesterday.
This exercise was coordinated by ASP Rampersad, spearheaded by W/Sgt Prince, supervised by Ag Cpl Ramjitsingh and included PCs Antoine and Lewis of the Moriah Police Station.
During the exercise, the twenty-two fully grown trees were seen on the eastern side of the roadway at Craig Hall Trace No. 2 Moriah.
They were uprooted and destroyed by the officers.
No one was arrested.
Investigations are continuing.
