Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wendell Williams has confirmed that a total number of 800 police officers inclusive of 21 civilian members of staff are currently in quarantine in light of the Coronavirus.
ACP Williams made the revelation this afternoon during the TTPS Media briefing on Monday May 17 at the Police Administration building.
Williams said a total of 136 tested police officers have tested positive for the virus while 2,491 including 67 civilian staff have resumed duties of work.
