80 new positive covid-19 cases have been recorded locally.
This is indicated in the latest clinical update from the Ministry of Health on Monday.
The Ministry said there were no reported deaths from the virus.
Four thousand and fifty-three persons have lost their lives due to the virus locally.
The Ministry said one hundred and fifty –one persons are hospitalized with Covid-19.
Six thousand, two hundred and seventy-four represents the amount of total active positive cases in Trinidad and Tobago.
