The Health Ministry has recorded 8 additional deaths and 135 new COVID-19 cases.
The deaths included 3 elderly males and 2 elderly females with comorbidities and 1 elderly male, 1 middle aged male and 1 young adult without comorbidities.
This has brought the total number of Covid related deaths to 1,376.
In it’s 4pm update on Sunday, the MOH also revealed that 30 persons have been discharged from public health facilities and 130 recovered community cases.
