A man identified as Edward “Mad Man” Jacob was shot dead in his San Juan home this morning.
A 49-year-old woman from Cedar Street, Morvant, was also shot and wounded in the attack.
According to reports, around 6am residents of Laventille Road, Febeau Village, heard several gunshots and found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were taken to the hospital, where 64-year-old Jacobs succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
