The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has advised that 52 people have been ticketed in the last 24 hours for failure to wear face masks.
Additionally, 4 people were arrested for breach of curfew.
According to an update posted by the TTPS this morning, 2 persons were also arrested for breaching public health regulations.
To date, there have been a total of 1,420 breach of curfew arrests and 1,469 arrests for breach of the public health regulations. A total of 16,325 tickets have been issued.
With regard to COVID-19 within the TTPS, 96 officers are battling the virus, while 354 remain in quarantine.
