A man identified as Tyrone Nehorah, was found dead in a bushy patch near his South Oropouche home on Sunday morning.
A neighbor told police that around 8:40 am, he went to pick dasheen bush, when he found Nehorah lying on the ground some 20 feet away from his home at Berridge Trace.
The body bore a neck wound.
Investigations are underway.
