It is no 40 days plus a since the brutal confrontation with police officers and 17-year-old Leonardo Williams of Beetham Gardens on July 2nd, Leo Williams father of Leonardo is still waiting on the law to provide closure to his son’s killing.
Williams speaking with IzzSo Media Ltd. at his Beetham Gardens residence said it is two months and one week his son’s death and his heart still pains when he enters Leonardo bedroom.
The Commissioner of Police (Ag), Mc Donald Jacob that justice will be served and his family will be safe.
Leonardo was one of three persons, including Fabien Williams, 21, and Isaiah Roberts, 17, who were fatally shot on Chacon Street and Independence Square.
Williams said contrary to police reports on the incident his son was not carrying a weapon, nor was his son involved in criminal activity prior to the incident.
Neighbours and other grieving family members hosted a candlelight vigil on the street corner in Port-of-Spain for the young men who passed away.
