38 people reported dead in Pakistan after a 5.8 magnitude earthquake

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake has killed at least 38 people and injured hundreds in east Pakistan, on Tuesday 24th September.

The epicentre of Tuesday’s quake was close to the city of Mirpur, in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

Pakistan’s military said relief teams are taking tents, food, drinking water and medical supplies to the worst affected areas.
